Thanks Guy's.

It took a while to dial in the doser so had a few ALK swings in the first few weeks! Potassium dropped fairly quickly as well which did not help. I cut the base completely off of one coral before the recession reached the branches. I then putty'd the coral directly to a rock; it seems to be encrusting again which is a good sign

One other coral was losing tissue so i placed it very close to a powerhead which blew the loose tissue away and it stopped receding! it's now re-growing.

Everything else is flourishing

I'm in love with the greens and blues in the second picture! What is that?

Hi Brett,

I have a few SPS in my collection that i haven't managed to I.D yet and this is one.. I think it could be Acropora Abrolhosensis. It seems to be growing very quickly.

If anyone has any other ideas; please share

Simon..

Wow you have some gorgeous corals and great colors. Any idea on the ID of this one? I had a piece for a short time, it grew algae on it and STNed. I was so ticked as its a gorgeous piece and so different looking. I'll have to see if I can get another piece somewhere.

Hi Christy,

Sorry for the late reply! Been away on vacation

I Don't have an I.D i'm afraid .. It's a really neat Acro, with deep blue tips and seems to be colouring up really well. I think it is a deepwater; possibly "Acropora Fenneri" but not too sure..

Simon.

Hey Simon what are the dimensions of the main display. I am looking at a tank FS here, it calculate's out to be 165 as well. It is a big long tank.

Hi,

It's 72" Long x 24" Width x 22" High.

I prefer wider tanks as they are easier to landscape IMO. I also prefer them to be shallow so that i can work on the substrate without climbing into the tank

Hope this helps..

Simon

I am finding that hard with my 155 BF. I am looking at a 96" L x 22" W x 18" D.
