Default white starfish

In the 9 or so years I have been reef keeping I have never kept starfish at home,
mainly due to working at the LFS's and seeing most of them die in captivity due to improper care and bad water conditions etc.
anyhow.. today i was looking in my tank and found 5 of these small white starfish (5mm?)
im wondering, if you have had them and what are your experiences?

cheers

They are most likely Asterina starfish. Usually they are just scavengers but some people say they can eat certain corals. My guess is there are different species some may eat coral and others will not.

My experience with them is they are harmless.
