this is my new Siganus virgatus
i just got today! i have always loved rabbit fish so i thought i would get this guy.




he/she is still a bit shy
im going to be stairing at the tank all day tomorrow!

Great fish. I have two (I bought them as babies thinking they might be doliatus). Great personalities.

ah yes the double bar rabbitfish a great addition to the reef tank!
I miss mine he was subject to death by my overflow guess he saw some algae in there and took the plunge by the time I found him it was too late make sure your overflows are eggcrated and mesh they do love to cruise everywhere in search of algae.

Nice fish! I've had mine since 2001 (Russel) He got quite large but has stayed really tame. Takes food from your hands.

Enjoy him!
