Default 24" + width aquariums?

I'm in the market for a new tank but haven't been able to find any brands that produce one with a width greater than 24". The one exception to this would be the Marineland Deep Dimension tanks that are 24" wide by 27" tall but I just thought I would see if anyone knew of any other options without having to resort to a custom made tank. Thanks.

I've seen one on the floor in BigAls in Burnaby. Btw, those tanks are 36" not 24" deep.

Uhm, I'm confused. Are you looking for a tank 24" wide or GREATER than 24" wide?

There are lots of standard tanks that are 24" wide made by various manufacturers. Typical 120's are 48x24x24", typical 180's are 72x24x24", typical 210's are 72x24x29". Etc...

I can't think of any standard tanks that are greater than 24" wide.

You'll have to go custom for a tank wider than 24". Standard tanks max out at 24" width because the demand is lower for wider tanks. Most people put tanks against the wall and don't want anything protruding out more than 2 feet and most light fixtures won't light up a tank wider than 2' properly.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

Just to be clear I was looking for a tank with a width greater than 24" as I've seen a few used ones for sale on here that were 30" wide. I did some calling around as well and it looks like the only ones I could find were the Marineland Deep Dimension tanks. I guess I'll have to go custom since I'd rather have a center or side overflow.

Ya, you will definitely have to go custom for a wider tank. I got my 168g 48lx30wx27h from Red Coral.
