Default J&L livestock order. Vernon

I am trying to finalize my order up. If any one wants anything, you have a day or 2 to get it in. Let me know. Sorry it's so last minute.

Thanks for the offer Nigel, but the only things I need from them right now are back-ordered so I guess I'll pass.

Hey Nigel, thanks for letting Mark & I have a sneak peak of your tank last week. Now I have to convince my wife to let me go that big.

I'm pretty well set for livestock right now, but thanks for the offer.

I know you are going mainly with SPS but if you are looking for any LPS or softies to supplement your tank, I'm probably going to put some more up for sale in a month or two. They are growing like weeds right now.

Cheers,

Kevin

It was Nice that you guys were able to make it over. Now I need to make a trip to your house. I will keep an eye out for when you post. There are a few softies I want to put in the tank. Do you by chance have any metalic green star polyps?

Hi Nigel, feel free to come by anytime. Although I'm afraid my setup isn't nearly as impressive as yours.

I do have some GSP left from the first sale I had. I'm not sure if it is classified as metallic green though.

Here is a pic on the mother colony under my 13000k halides

And here is a pic of the frags in my fuge\grow out tank (under a 6700k T5)

I'm sure they would green up pretty quickly under your miniature sun that you have in your tank .

Cheers,

Kevin

Hello all, glad to have found you. I to live in Vernon. I have been in this hobby for the past 4 years with a very successful 10 gal nano tank. I have just recently sold all my rock and corals and fish from this tank due to the high cost of everything. All my stuff was getting really overgrown in this tank and in order for me to downsize the corals a bit I had to sell the rock and all as every piece of rock was covered with corals.

I also have lost a "touch" of interest in that tank too, upgrading was not an option as i really did not want to add $$$$ into something bigger.

So now I am a "pico" owner of a 1 gal tank. Lots of fun something to keep me still in the saltwater thing. I have 3 very small frags of green star polyps, green button polyps, mushroom frag. 2 hermit crabs 1 bumble bee goby.

I see you have ordered from J&L Aquatics, I have never been there but browse their site quite often, very neat things and great prices compared to what we pay here that is for sure.

What I would like to know is, does anyone in the Vernon area on this board have some very small I mean very small frags of buttons?? I would love to add some blue or pink ones to this little tank of mine or even 1 nice colored ric would be neat.

Amy

Amy, welcome to Canreef. Always glad to see some more Vernon Reefers. If you are looking for some nano sized stuff locally, Complete Pet has a few frags that were reasonably price (not the zoas though) in their 8G biocube on the checkout counter. I'll be putting together a 16g nano shortly and if I end up with some frags, I'll let you know.
