Has anyone used the baby brineshrimp you can buy in the jar by Instant Ocean??

If you have any comments about it would be great.

they're great to feed any filter feeders such as corals and feather dusters. Not good for feeding dwarf seahorses or any creatures that requires live prey.

They changed the packaging, originally they say to use within one week of opening and now they say six. I don't trust it, so I keep mine in the fridge for the first week. Then I put the rest in the freezer afterwards. Put a bit of water into the jar, swirl and feeds off that layer. Then the jar goes right back into the freezer.

Zena, I don't have saltwater anymore but I was inquiring for my freshwater bettas. I don't breed but thought this might be easier for the males you eat instead of the frozen regular brine which they just spit back out.

I think you have bettas?? Let me know if you have tried this product with them.

baby brine might be too small for adult bettas. I did feed them at one point but I don't think they took them too well. I think most went into the filter at the end.

Try frozen daphnia for adult bettas. They'll eat those.

I personally feed frozen bloodworms. They go gaga for it.

Thanks Zena, I thought they might be to small. I have a few bettas that will eat the frozen bloodworms but my new superdeltas will not for some reason, they did eat the adult brineshrimp today though, I just like to add a variety each day for feedings instead of just pellets all the time.

One thing these crazy deltas like is the flakes for bettas, they love them, so I give them a few of these also. But I will try the daphnia too, say are cyclopeeze smaller or bigger than daphnia??
