Here is a link to the Cherry corals website where he has it posted at $80/inch:

Please note, this is the piece colored up, our just arrived in stock.
The patterns on the skin looks different to me (CC's has dots while your's has lines). Is that possible that same smooth skin acro can have unique patterns (kinda like finger print :P)?

Yes, I noticed that too, but not sure if that is a distinguishing difference or if one coral can have either.

Solutions are easy. The real difficulty lies in discovering the problem.

Looks like a dense growth pattern on a vermiculata to me. This is definitely a shallow water sps where as the Needle in a Haystack is a Deep Water SPS.

I have looked at those on the web, but I don't see the resemblance. It is really not that dense, maybe the pic angle makes it look that way. Some day I will try to take a top down pic.

Anyways, thanks for looking.

Pretty awesome colours!
Millipora are a great piece for people looking to get into SPS.
They are super easy to care for and the polyp extension gets very long a bit after import so they are "fuzzy" and move in the flow.
This particular color variation is not the easiest, i would recomend starting with a nice pink one like the RW Sun God which is pink with yellow tips

Thanks for the info; I have one stick (also fuzzy) a little pocillopora and I think it's kinda neat.

However I live in the woods... Corals are hard to come by... hehe
