Did anyone else have a hard time with this subject? there are some great pics. i had to add purple up to the tank in order to get some contrast. stilll wasnt bright enought for my camera so i hade to leave a light on nest to the tank. just rambling here any thoughts?

shooting in 120mm film would work great but such a hassle

I think the camera quality, {and of course skill}, is a determining part of these pics. I look at some of the beautiful pics in this contest and general coral pics and wonder. I just cant compete with my camera, which is not a bad one but not good enough to take macro,s like these.

So I just look & vote now.
