Default "Algae" could use some help please

I have for too long battled a dark hard green algae that grows on the glass mostly but is on everything else as well. My phosphates are very minimal if at all nitrite and nitrate are the same. My halides run from 11am to 5pm I wondering if this is two long? or are there any other suggestions has anyone out there over come this problem I hope I am not alone.

I don't think your photo period is too long. I run mine from 10am to 9:00pm.
I would suspect your Phosphates and Nitrates are feeding the Algea.
The Zeovit should help a ton but you should have your Nitrites at zero at all times. How long has the tank been running?

My tank has been running since a year ago last May and before that two years and have taken as much water and rock as I can and just this past May I moved again so it's not a total new set up but has been up and running again the past three months hopefully no more moving

That's Coraline Algae...you WANT that stuff. It comes in all colors, but purple is the most common. It does come in dark red and even GREEN.

If you REALLY wanna get rid of it...... buy an urchin. They LOVE the stuff.
