Default Tank swap over

So I have so many ugly hitchhikers in my tank that I want to get rid of. What is the best way to do this? I have 130pounds of new dry rock and and new dry sand. If I cycle the rock and sand in garbage bins, and when it’s ready just remove everything out of my display tank, wipe it down and and then transfer over the new rock and sand. Will it still cause another cycle? Or will it be safe to put my coral in after? I presently have no fish in it, as they are in Qt. Hope it makes sense.
