Default Cool $1 Frag

Did anyone else get those frags from JL about a month ago that they had sitting in the sump all grey from a shattered colony? I figured for a $1 why not see what happens, put it in a few different spots in the tank, starting to show color now, actually not a bad piece:

Anyone else get them? there was probably about 25 pieces in there.

Mine wasn't doing super well until I stuck it right under my halide, seems to like the light. Growing pretty well too, this is only the top half showing. Hard to get a good pic of it, it's been moved around the tank a lot, so didn't get a good position for viewing. I"ll probably glue it down somewhere more visible now... if it stays happy.

I bought 3 different brown/grey frags from J&L about a month ago as well. One has turned dark blue with a kind of teal tint, the other looks like yours but is fluorescent green and has sprouted about 11 new branches and the other is kinda orange/green. They're sitting on a frag rack right below the water surface (0.5-4" depth) under T5s.

Nice snag for a buck guys. Still cannot get the urge for these fuzzy sticks. But they do look nice in other peoples tanks.
