Yea it was a blast

I have the sand mixed in buckets right now, i'm not liking the look of it. Hopefully it'll look better once in the tank.

Atleast you have a backyard/place to clean it. Being a resident in apartment, bathtub and tap were my only option and swimming with 50lb of sand particles in there was no fun! Itchy itchy!

One thing I have learned (personal opinion) is, if you don't like something outside the tank, there's a higher possibility that you would regret it inside And everyone loves caribsea fiji pink I have seen that brand of sand in stores but never liked the look of it.

Well it turns out my build is going to take longer than I thought. I'm so not at all impressed or happy about it. That's all I want to say right now. With the crap I had to put up with shipping with Greyhound and now this, it just makes a guy want to just say the heck with it and sell it all and get out of the hobby. It's supposed to be enjoyable.

Hang in there buddy. It'll get better. It always does. Unless of course you've got Blue Cloves. In which case, sorry, you're SOL.

My build took about a year tank still isn't running fully and it's at year 2 lol it's getting closer. It's a big undertaking especially with a remote sump, my sump is 50 feet across the house. Best to do it slowly and properly tho than rush
