Default The new 65 gallon.

Hello,

Just thought i would do a quick write up on my new set up. I finally got my new tank together i will list some details and post a few pictures.

- 65 Gallon tall display tank.
- 30 Gallon sump.
- SWC 160 Protein Skimmer not running yet.
- quiet one 4000 return pump.
- modified Herby style overflow.
- one MP 10 W soon to be two.
- Tunze Osmolator.
- 1 Kissel 360W will be two soon.
- Aqua Medic Klak Stirrer 1000 soon to be added when it arrives.
- 30 pounds of CaribSea Aragonite Aragamax Select.
- 2 @ 100 Watt Heaters.
- 60 Pounds of Rock.
- DIY Steel Stand Soon to be cladded.

Made some updates to equipment in red and added the livestock.

Just thought i would do a quick write up on my new set up. I finally got my new tank together i will list some details and post a few pictures.

- 65 Gallon tall display tank.
- 30 Gallon sump.
- SWC 160 Protein Skimmer not running yet.
- quiet one 4000 return pump.
- modified Herby style overflow.
- one MP 10 W soon to be two. Replaced with one Maxspect Gyre.
- Tunze Osmolator.
- 1 Kissel 360W will be two soon. Now Running two.
- Aqua Medic Klak Stirrer 1000 soon to be added when it arrives. Arrived and installed and running. Still fine tunning amount of Kalk to add per week.
- 30 pounds of CaribSea Aragonite Aragamax Select.
- 2 @ 100 Watt Heaters.
- 60 Pounds of Rock. Added about 30-40 lbs more rock to the sump.
- DIY Steel Stand Soon to be cladded. Cadding of the stand is complete (lower) need to buil upper light cover.

A Few New Things to note below. (05-Jan-2015).

- As for coral I have the following.
- Toad Stool Which will be re-homed soon.
- To Plate corals.
- Aussie Duncan (Light Green).
- About 9 sps frags which are hanging in. 4 of which were just added this weekend.
- If I could figure out how to post pictures in the thread like you did for me I would post away

- As for Fish / Inverts I have the following.
- 2 Bartlett's Anthias.
- 1 Pygmy Possum Wrasse.
- 1 Tail Spot Blenny (Mows Algy like a champ).
- 1 Green Emerald Crab.
- 1 Cleaner Shrimp (Cleans the Bartlett's which is cool to see).

Ok well after an hour messing around on PB and Canreef I figured out how to link a photo into the thread

This is just an iPhone picture but will get some pictures from the camera up tomorrow night.

Hello well i felt like changing up the left side today so thats what I did while our daughter had a nap. I have some new frags which will be going on the new rock work soon.

Hello,

Thanks to OneDivided i picked up some new frags about three weeks ago. They have been adjusting to the Led Lights and are no starting to color up. Here are some pics.

Here is a picture of my Fav fish my Pygmy Wrasse. He is out in the open the second you go up to the tank not shy at all!

How are you liking your Gyre so far?

I am not sold on the Gyre. I think it would be awsome on a big tank but still think for random flow patterens you need to supplement with Jebao's on others. I put one of my MP10's back in last weekend.
