Default Live Rock Questions

I have a couple questions regarding live rock. My biggest concern is where i should get some. I have access to about 60-70 pounds right now. It is pretty plain live rock. I was wondering where a person can get some stuff that really looks attractive. Ive been thinkin ill put about 60-70 pounds in the tank as like a base rock. and get some really pretty stuff to cover the other stuff with. On JL aquatics there is some stuff called Vanuatu Live Rock this stuff looks amazing! i just dont want to have to cook it.

You don't have to cook all uncured live rock, but I would strongly reccommend it. A lot of the "really pretty" stuff on the uncured rocks will eventually die off. Mature, cured rock that has been in someone's tank for awhile will simply be covered in purple and/or red coralline algae. Some people get kinda of a reddish brown fuzzy turf algae covering some or all of their rocks too which I prefer, but the coralline is preferred by most people.
