Default How to hook up a low water float shutoff

Hi,
I have a neptune jr controller and would like to hook up a float switch to turn the pump off should the water level ever drop too low in the return compartment. I have no idea? Laymans terms please, from the plug in to the float and all parts between.
Thanks
Dave

Do you have a breakout box? Without the breakout box, it will be difficult.

If you have the serial plug for the bottom of the unit I think it is pins 1&2 if you check the neptune site the manual is there

This is the breakout box http://www.neptunesys.com/index.php?...d=32&Itemid=40

Instructions on how to wire a switch are on page 23 of your manual. http://www.neptunesys.com/images/dow...Serial_web.pdf
