Default Aquarium safe Paint?

Im looking at painting the inside of a homemade canopy white (as white obsorbs no light). However im concerned about toxins if peices were to chip off or condensation were to form and drip back in the tank.

Any thoughts?

Use a good bathroom, or water/moisture resistant paint and it shouldnt flake off. There won;t be any "safe paint" but I do have PVC pipes in my tank sprayed with Krylon fusion and they are ok. The Krylon eventually comes off tho and I won't spray them again...

if you lightly sand the PVC prior to putting the krylon on there, you wind up with a much longer lasting effect.

though still relatively easily scratched off.
