Default Ph close to 8.5

I'm curious If I should be concerned,

Running a ca reactor my ph was always a little lower... I had a frag tank running opposite to combat low ph.

I have recently taken my frag tank offline and ph returned to 8-8.2.

Recently my Sps have taken off and look great, so I'm not really that worried but ph is higher than ever, here are my recent parameters:

Alk 7.2
Calc 430
Mag 1290
P04 0.25
Ph 8.1-8.48

The ph is getting higher by the week, should I be concerned?

When's the last time you calibrated? Does it actually read 7.0 and 10.0 in each calibration solution? Do you notice carbonate build up on impellers and heaters? Do you use kalk/lime?

Was going to ask the same question.
My pH was hitting 8.4 and I was getting concerned, recalibrated & now ranges from 8.0 to high of 8.2.

Last year...your probably right, I'll get some calibration fluid tomorrow, no build up, no kalk/lime. Just a ca reactor and zeovit. Ph is 8.48 right now and still 2 hours of halides left, nothing seems wrong at all. I would bet on calibration lazyness! Thanks for the cuff upside the head lol

Did you calibrate and get a better reading?
