or i guess the so called "dory" fish from finding nemo!

J&L would probably sell that size for $55 to $64 so I would imagine a private sale would go for less than that. I would guess $30 to $40.

I paid $35 retail for a 4" regal the other day, but that's in the Toronto area. I don't know how prices compare out west.

Regals are awesomely beautiful fish. I think they are my favourite along with purple tangs.

ya because im selling mine in a month because i just got a 35 gallon and it came with it and i feel sorry for it cause it should have a bigger tank! so ya but in a month cause i just got it today with everything and i want to make sure things are going well!

A few years ago i paid 75 dollars for one that was about an inch and a half long.Welcome to living in the sticks,in the prairies.

Regal tangs are pretty common and always available privately or at the LFS. So like Ron99 stated, you'd be looking at $30-$40 on the private market.

I'm pretty sure one just sold privately on here for $20...I wanted him. but he was already sold. (of course, 'cause it was a SMOKIN' deal)

ya my tang is pretty nice no fins are bitten off, no ick, FANOMINAL shape, and he's the alpha of the tank!

I got mine privately for $45.00 with damaged fins. So I would easily post that price for yours. Don't be shy, people like to bargain. Good luck!
