Default Reptile owners? Question for ya

So I figured since this forum has a bunch of crazy animal lovers like myself I would throw this question out there.
I am the recent owner of an abandoned Berber Skink. (found at a vacant apartment that my fiancé manages)
I have him eating super worms but he seems to LOVE hornworms. Now this of course becomes the dilemma since hornworms cost nearly 2$ a piece at PETSMART. So I guess there are 2 questions.

1. Does anyone know someone who breeds hornworms locally where they can be purchased cheaper?

2. If I was to breed and grow out hornworms do you thnk the local market would sustain a large quantity of them.

Again I ask this because I am very new to the whole reptile thing and am trying to make sure I offer him the best life possible

Oh and lastly is there a reptile forum similar to canreef ?

Horn worms are very delicate and can be very hard to breed. Not worth it. Bacteria from your hand can be enough to kill them.

Crickets, Waxworms, Phoenix worms... tons of other bugs that are great and much cheaper. Make sure you're dusting them too. Fruits and Veggies. Cooked eggs. And heck even canned cat food (high quality)

As for a forum, theres a local one in your area, but Id try Reptiles Canada.
