Default Par38 Questions

Hey guys, I recently sold the 150w HQI we had over our tiny little 6 gallon. It was just way too damn overkill. Anyway we are looking at par38s and are curious about these.. We are keeping zoas, rics, and acans only in the tank so we are wondering if we should buy one with the red bulbs in it for more pop? Or if we should opt for one of the other ones?
This one has UV in it..

This ones just a normal rapidled

And this one has the red in it

Any suggestions?

Erick the Par 38 would be excellent over the tank IMO. i would go with the normal one and go from there. i believe its the 12K one

Doesn't matter how much you have been reading until you take the plunge.
You don't know as much as you think.

Given that you've already experienced a light that was overkill...I would look at the dimmable version so that you control the amount of light on the tank. I think a PAR38 will work great on your tank.

Mike, the rapidled is actually a "17-20k" not a 12k.. I'm just curious out of all of these which one is going to give me the best colors from our coral.. Any help there?
