sorry about the crap phone pics!

I was a little worried about the spread of light with just the two lights, but the coverage is ample for the 48" of tank.

All in all I'm quite happy with the Radions and will update more on my journal as things get both myself and my tank inhabitants get more accustom!

Thanks again Dave!
Very nice, but if I go by your photo, with respect to the spread, it doesn't really look like the extreme ends/corners of your tank & the livestock there are getting a lot of light. This is a 4 foot tank correct? I'd almost say if you don't want to reaquascape, you might need a third Radion & reorient them across the tank.

Good eye! A couple of reasons, I did not place them with the lights lit and it definitely does show that I placed them too close together (no plumb and working on the ceiling with a limp measuring tape and a magic marker did not help the situation at all!!), and with the lights dimmed it does look worse than it is.

After they were hung, and not having to worry about dropping light fixtures into the water, I was able to find the correct positioning of where they should be to get the spread of light I was referring too in my post above.

Yes the tank is 48"

Thanks, good info for those of us with 4 foot tanks. Nice to know two will do the job.

Coverage should be perfect for a 48" tank and two modules. The rated spread is 24" per module

Dave do you have one over a tank thank I could check out in person? Better yet do you have a test/sample/demo unit that I could put over my tank and visually see the difference? I have two problems with LEDs right now.. 1. I have yet to see an LED fixture in person that I really liked. 2. They are an expensive experiment to try and find one you like.
