Default need input from some wrasse experts

just seeing if anyone out there have been able to keep multiple groups of hawaiian flame wrasse in one tank successfully

got a few in last night, they are in my quarantine tank right now and they seem to keep to themselves ie no fighting or chasing each other, all are eating as will

do you think they will stay this way or am i just asking for problems in the long run?

thanks Dave

I have tried before with 2males/3femals in a 120g. You should be fine with multiple females and one male. Once the alpha male is established, the other males will go jumping out of water trying to avoid his dominance.

Yikes, that's a lot of males! This is for your big tank I guess? I would probably try to get almost all females and just 2-3 males then they can sort it out themselves. I think 5 could be too many.

i was afraid of that, the males looks so much nice in colors wise

i guess i will just have to keep a close eye on them in the quarantine tank for the next few weeks to see how it plays out

Ya, I would definitely get those 5 more females though. The sub-dominant males are quite nice too though...heck female Flames are pretty nice. You're covering this tank well I assume...?
