Default My Ultimate Tank!

YEAH...I'm thinking, I'm back!!!

So, I've been away from the hobby for almost 16 yrs. From what I'm seeing things have changed! I'm in the process of planning my ultimate tank and would appreciate some advice and feedback on my selection of equipment etc...

Welcome back! 16 years is a long time. Everything has changed so much, mostly in hardware technology but it seems you have a handle on all the mod cons. My only question is, why a stock tank and not custom?

Totally following along on this one!

My thought was that an all-in-one would be cheaper than a custom tank and stand?

The Red Sea's are on the high side, but they are very nice tanks. The included sump is far too small for my liking. You could get a slightly larger tank, based on your own dimensions, with welded stand, external overflow, sump of your design, for a comparable price.
