Default Taxes

At first I thought this was funny.... Then I realized the awful truth of it.

Be sure to read all the way to the end!

Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table
At which he's fed.

Tax his work,
Tax his pay,
He works for peanuts
Anyway!

Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think.

Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To tax his ass.

Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won't be done
Till he has no dough.

When he screams and hollers;
Then tax him some more,
Tax him till
He's good and sore.

Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he's laid.

When he's gone,
Do not relax,
It’s time to apply
The inheritance tax.

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, & our nation was one of the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had a large middle class, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.

What in "Hell" happened? Can you spell 'politicians?'

Politicians and all sorts of groups demanding money/support/aid etc. so the politicos hand them money for votes etc. Let's not forget all the huge amounts of waste (gun registry anyone?), and theft due to corruption.

Ha, ha, I think you missed the latest, Carbon Tax. I've been seeing that on my natural gas bill for a while now, along with a 'clean energy levy'. What's up with that? One or the other, but both???

And now our beloved politicians are giving themselves another two months off because of the Olympics? Prorogue indeed! Nice. They're probably the only ones that can get their hands on any decent tickets for the popular venues. He, he, look out, you got me started now...

With them being prorogued they can't pass any new taxes into law!!!! Every day that they are on holiday, is one less day they can pass new laws to intrude into your life.

Why is it that no political party ever runs on a platform of removing government from your life? They always run on a platform of more intrusion into it.
