Rebel is the best. Great performance (6 sec and 211 ft off the water) and can haul 3 people in and out of the higher alpine lakes here. I would not get a Moose.

Well, depends what you want, and how much you time you have to build, and how much money you have. I have flown a Moose both on wheels and on floats. It's good on wheels, but on amphibs needs a very large engine to get good performance (although will never be as good as the Rebel no matter what engine). And then you can still only take 4 people max. The plane is very heavy, is very hard to build, very expensive to operate, and you still can't cruise very fast. And you won't get into the small high lakes that I can with my Rebel.

For example, you would never take a Moose into this higher up alpine lake (unless it had a turbine).

I had 3 people on board into this lake.
