Default WTT 36" strip light for 24" strip light

I need a 24" one or two tube strip light, I will give up a 36" two tube strip. I will even throw in the tubes. (one 50/50, and one actinic.)

Hey Bob,
I believe I have a 24" strip light at home with a powerglow bulb in it now.
It's only a single but if you want to trade it works for me.

I will check when I get home and let you know.

A single would be perfect. I can always go buy an actinic bulb.

Darn, I was hoping to supplement the PCs over the 33, maybe by buying that 36" strip from Bob. Doh. :?

Jonny, are you needing the 3-footer? What might the cash value be on your 24" strip? Maybe we can figure something out.

Not thinking swiftly today...

Cheers,

Alan

I hope you realise Alan that by putting both strips over the tank, you will totally cover the top. The two tube strip is over 5" wide as is the PC strip. Now every time you want to do something in the tank, you will have to take one off.

I was just noticing that, Bob. Good point. Maybe I'll keep an eye out for a single 36" for an actinic, or just cool my jets for awhile and not worry about it.

Yeah, that's the ticket...

Well bummer news.
The Strip light that I have is 31" long with a 30" bulb on it.
I have it on a 33 now but it has a covered top.

Either way that tank will be down soon if I can get rid of the rock which is just extra. So the light will be availiable if either of you fellows need it.

Just let me know.
Cheers

I am afraid that won't work for me. I will see what I can find at the LFS.

:?: Hey Jon, what rock? Which tank is this you're taking down?
I have room for some rock, we should talk because I can make use of the strip light as well (as long as actinics are available in that length).

I have a 33 set up in the basement just for a place to put my extra 20 to 30 lbs of rock when i rearranged my aquarium.
Tony has first choice as we have a trade in progress, Kinda, I think???
He would only want the stuff with out mushrooms for sure so. But I have to wait for Tony to let me know.

There will be some rock left for sure, with mushrooms too! On it.
There are actinic bulbs availiable for that size. It's just a 30" bulb.

Send me a mail, would ya,gosh darn it.

Talk to ya tommorow
