Default rinsing sand

I'm in the process of rinsing my new sand. Its half Agra Max Select and half Seafloor Special.

Am I right in assuming that its okay to put the rinsed sand in my dry tank even if there won't be water going in for a bit?

I just need this job to get done and today I have time.
