Lance you're referring to the Sicce PSK 2500s?

No, pretty much most pumps in general. It really irks me when they don't start up again.

I have the same pumps on my skimmer. I had to trim the mesh way back to get it to start reliably, it still doesn't start 100% everytime though.

Yeah I'm not even running mesh. This is the stock SWC pinwheel. It was baffling and just a little irritating.

That's not good news I was thinking of swapping over to pinwheels

Another day in reef aquarium paradise eh Sorry to hear but sorta glad to hear when it's not just me who has days like this ... day after day .. after day .. after day.

That skimmer is too new to be giving startup issues? Is the magnet perfectly cylindrical? Everytime I've had a pump with startup issues that wasn't on account of a mesh-mod, I think a swollen magnet was eventually found to be the cause. Very vexatious and I hope that's not the explanation! But might be worth checking next time you open the pump up.

Lance we'll have to set you up sometime. Maybe not when it's minus a billion outside over here though. Ugh. But if you're ever out here drop me a line and we can do some gorgonian haircuts.

Aw. I meant it in a brother-in-arms kind of way? Bother. Cinders and ashes!

Tomorrow will be better?
