Default Can I run GFO in a media bag?

can I run GFO in a media bag? I do have a phosBan reactor 150 but I dont have any space to hang on my 29G Biocube (close to wall). Can I just bag it and shove it inside me sencond chamber? pho4 is at .25

Yes you can, but it's not ideal. GFO should be tumbled to get the most efficiency out of the media.

Some brands are better than others in this respect as well. Boyd Chemi-Pure Elite works well in media bags. I had great success using this in my biocubes. Where as the bulk GFO wouldnt do so well in a media bag.

I use Chemi-Pure Elite in a mediabag in my biocube 29 as well and it seems to work well enough. I use one of these to direct flow through my GFO&Purigen http://www.shop.mediabaskets.com/Cor...ket-CL29MR.htm
