Default Anyone use par38

Thinking of using rapidled par38 over my standard 15g?

Wondering if anyone is using these lights successfully

Im using the 9$ ebay par 38 with 7 leds in my sump for zoa frags , there color is good and they are growing just as well as in my display.

Brother used a rapid led one over his 12 gallon nano worked really good

Tried one on my frag tank. They are good enough for soft coral but that's it. Not good enough for montipora or any sps. My hammer coral didn't do well either.

I'd say they are good sump algae lights or fish only. That's about it.

Some brands are better than others.

I bought one (rapid led) used and put it over my 12 gallon aquapod, had a clam in there at the time along with mostly zoas, lps and a few easy sps.

Kept everything very happy and looked great.

if you're putting it over a standard 15 gallon it should be fine for most corals.

Thank you so much.

I was looking into the full spectrum rapidled or the reefled 54.

I currently have a par38, works good just don't like the colouration but its not full spectrum.

Ai prime is so expensive or i would go that route
