Default Black algae?

Anybody have an id for this stuff? Looks like lint, and has slowly been creeping throughout my tank.

It looks a lot like fish eggs with fungus. Weird. Not sure what it is. Don't assume it is algae though...might be a sponge.

No fish eggs in there, may be micro bubbles. Yeah I may have to do a search on fungus, never thought of that one.

Never seen anything like that before. Kinda looks like black sponge but not really.

Try shining a house lamp at the culprit and take a picture doing that. The brighter light with less blue in it should allow you to get better focus.

I ended up blowing it off the rocks with a baster, there's a few other spots but are harder to take a photo off clearly. I'll keep an eye on it and will wait for a better photo op
