Default mixing different mark of bio-pellets?

We use npx bio-beads since june 2010 and it's time to add more in the reactor...

Planning to get 2little fishies brand this time...

anyone mix diffrent mark of bio-pellets?
your experiences and comments please!

It shouldn't be an issue, from what I have read they all come out of the same factory... Different shapes depending on the seller, but the recipe and the manufacturer is the same.

Please note: I have read this in many places, but cannot prove this fact, so please also do your research.

Lighting: 5ft Hamilton Belize Sun (2x250W MH, 2X80W T5HO)
Type of Aquarium: mixed reef (SPS & LPS) with fish
Dosing: Mg, Ca, Alk

I concur, I've read the same thing. That's why I went with the TLF NPX Biopellets -- cheaper :P

The only difference seems to be their shape, so mixing them may require you to change the flow into the reactor(+/-), to get the desired tumbling effect.
