How old is your tank?
Do you have any corals and/or fish?
What are your N&P levels?
What type of rock do you have - dry, live, man-made, other?

I was hoping either your tank was new with no critters, or your N&P were higher than desired. Then you'd be able to manage it with placing the rock in tubs and dealing with it there rather than in your DT.

Honestly with your situation I can't offer any advice other than to read through the many posts on Reef2Reef if you find no answers here.

Good luck!
