Reefer for me. Cause I personally dont like the Max light. And I like the look of an open top.

Thanks. Trying to figure out what my first tank is to be. Its quite a head scratcher trying to decide. Also thinking of going bare bottom instead of sand.

Decisions decisions.....

the reefer 900 is gorgeous i was looking into that one in stead of a inwall, its all done and I like that. I retired and i do live playing around with the aquariums. don't get me wrong i love building it but i have always done and want a change i think. the reefer 1000 looks pretty fancy aswell the material that goes along the setup is not to bad. i like that you can build what you want and add w hat you want.
the max just seems the lower end not a lot of good things that goes with it.
The pricing is what I cant see. I wish that they would show the prices with full loaded set up so you can have a better understanding of what one suits your budget. I bet you are looking in to the 7 thousand range for the reefer big boy i believe its the 900 no.

Doesn't matter how much you have been reading until you take the plunge.
You don't know as much as you think.
