My favourite fish when I used to keep Cichlids. Someone should take you up on this offer as these are really nice fish! I had a couple of breeding pairs that were fascinating to watch and easy to keep. Somedays when things aren't going so smooth with my saltwater tank I consider going back to Cichlids.

Hopefully you will clean the tank first. I think if you have ever used copper on it while
fresh you would have to clean it extra well. I switched to salt from fresh on my 33 gal.
but I used it for curing rock and eventually after more cleaning as a Q.T. tank when I
bought more fish. And add new water / declorinated of course. How big is your tank?

Brichardi are awesome - I have 3 myself, cool fish, and they look fantastic when their streamers grow out!
