Default Words of advice for the suddenly unemployed

If you suddenly find yourself unemployed because you are a total and constant screw-up, do not slam your old boss and employer on Facebook, and in the same instance ask said boss if they would be willing to provide a reference, especially if your Facebook profile is open for the entire planet to view. Some people really don't have a clue!

LOL. I'll try to remember that, although, a couple of years ago, when I wrote my bosses' boss to tell him that my boss was a constant and complete screwup, I got promoted.

+1 if you're dim witted enough to pull that, then your credibility as an employee is a bit tanked.

That said this does bring up the debate regarding personal privacy vs. access to a limitless resource of knowledge (internet). but let's not go there?
