Default Typezeros 57 Gallon mixxed reef

Hi, I'm a long time lurker, first time poster.
I would like to share with you guys my tank build that I started around July of 2011. I'm going to slowly update this thread till it catches up with my most updated thread on another local forums. Some of it will be copy and paste so I do apologize if its a little out of context.
Hope you guys enjoy the process!
Thank you!

Current equipment
Tank – Reef Ready Oceanic Illuminata (36”x18”x21” 57gallon rimless)
Sump – 30 gallon
Return pump – Eheim 1262
Skimmer – Super reef octopuss 1000 int (switched from SWC160 cone)
Lighting – 2X Aqua Illuminations Sol Blues
Water movement – 2 x MP40W es (Switched from 2 x MP10 WES)
Reactor - 2 X TLF 150 for carbon and biopellets.

It’s been slow gathering equipment and doing what I can before filling up the tank. I do have the rockwork done. I’m using around 40 pounds of macro rock I got at SUM. I love the uniform look of the rock and I used epoxy putty and lotsa super glue to stick them together.
Here is what I came up with; I’m still in the process of strategically clipping off pieces here and there for a cleaner look. I made a faux tank with cardboard to do the rockwork outside the tank

For the mean time I got a small 10gallon reef tank that I set up since January this year. It is a DIY AIO system made with acrylic.

Really like that scape! The negative space between your towers is really sweet =)

Thank you guys!
I bought the tank and stand off someone who ran the system for only a few months. He said it was a custom made metal stand which is powder coated.

Default Nice Rock Work!!

This is very nice! Is this macro rock similar to the fiji dry live rock sold at bulkreefsupply?

I have a 65 gallon setup in progress too... I was thinking of getting the fiji rock from BRS.

What kind of epoxy are you using?

The rock is Marco rock same ones as these http://www.marcorocks.com/ (sorry if I'm not allowed to post links). It's land mined from ancient reef deposits. I love the texture and the coarseness of the rock. The stuff from brs should be the same only difference I see is the texture of it. I used d-d epoxy putty, live that stuff.

Ohhh man now its awkward, me not updating and all. Its not you guys... Its me
Lets skip all the crappy cell phone pics of algea and cycling and the jazzy stuff at the beginning of a build.
Im going to make up for the lack of updates by unloading all my reefporno here.
Lets get it!!
