The chalice seemed to be in fair shape when I unburied it from the hair algae forest in January... But has slowly receded since. I'd say at least a month of clear skeletal visibility. It started out with one white edge... Then progressed to this.

Hmm, I don't believe this particular piece is from me (but I could be wrong). In any case, hair algae growing on exposed skeleton can be pretty rough on corals. I find the recovery time of chalices to be especially slow. From what I can tell, the remaining tissue looks healthy. I'd try to go for some feeding over the next while and see how it turns out from there.
