Default Please Help My Clam

Hi everyone,

I have had a crocea clam for about 2 months now and everything has been going great, until now. My cleaner wrasse for some odd reason has decided to pick on my clam if he tries to come out at all. I was hoping it was just a phase, but it has now been 2 weeks and my clam still tries to come out, but the cleaner wrasse picks on him every time. Does anyone know why my cleaner wrasse is doing this or how I could possibly get him out without ripping apart my tank?

Thanks in advance,

Justin

Try a strawberry basket upside down over the clam to keep the wrass off. It will make an impact on the lighting your clam gets, but at least your clam would be safe from the wrasse temporarily and be able to come out.

To catch the wrass I haven't a clue, sorry! Maybe try feeding to get it out in the open the swoop in with a net!

Sorry I don't know what else to suggest that won't further inhibit the clams lightsource or make the wrasse suffer.

Have any pictures of your clam?

Have you uploaded it somewhere? If you have all you have to do is hit the IMG button, put the location of the picture in, then hit the IMG button again and hit submit,

it should look like this without the *s then hit submit and you should have a picture up for all to see!
