Holy CRAP that's a massive investment there. There has to be a purpose for the pools is it for storm/weather analysis?

The one guy looks like Doctor Who.

That's epic on so many levels and yet I'm still awestruck by the whole .. uselessness of it. Can you imagine the costs involved to set something like that big pool in a warehouse like that? "But look at the way wicked splash we can make!" Epic epic epic.

When does Sfiligoi come out with a version for our tanks?

I guess there are likely tons of applications to waveform analysis I'm just not thinking of many. Tunze take a backseat lol.

Hmmmmmm. I'm thinking Sohal pool in my garage. Man would a school of those look cool riding those waves.

Ahhhhh, fun with physics! I used to have an office up above the big wave tank at BC Research out near UBC. It was originally used for alot of ship hull design testing but by the time I was there it was mostly rented out to film crews looking to shoot water sequences.

But this one looks like it has some current research purposes.
