Default Refugium LED Lights

Has anyone tried these as refugium lights? 5K and 1300 lumens should work fine...

67k is a standard for plants as used in FW planted tanks however this should be just fine.

Look at it this way you don't need to change that bulb until 2036!

The famous Melev has had good luck with a 5100K CFL. A 5000K LED might be a different story, time will tell.

Pricey bulbs they are...

I'm using one of those. Just got it for the power savings. But I picked up a Zetlight fixture and will probably switch over to that soon.

Just tried them out, not impressed. They are more of a spotlight than a floodlight. Color was okay and they were brighter than my CFLs but not worth $55 each for my purposes.

For $110 bucks I could probably one of those crappy Sols or Radions!
