Hey guys what type of algae is this? And how do I get rid of it?

Sorry, I can't tell what we're looking at in the pic. What colour it is, how old it the tank , what is your lighting schedule?

The tank is about 14 months old. I have the lights on for 12 hours a day. 6 HO fluorescents. Here is another pic.

I had some of that recently and got rid of it by adding some Trochus snails to eat it and increasing the dosage of Foz Down to get rid of Phosphate in the tank. 2 weeks later it's gone.
