Default Tizé's Red sea Max250 build

Hello everyone! I'm new to this hobby, but have always dreamed of having a little piece of paradise in my living room. I finally took the plunge and bought myself a Red Sea Max250 for my birthday this past week. I have it set up now. The pumps are circulating. I have sand in now, but no rocks yet. I am very excited and over the moon that I finally get to begin this journey. I live in Ontario, am a 40ish mom of two girls under 10. I work full-time and have a third child, also referrred to as a husband. Any help will be appreciated, I have been lurking on the forums for a while now, but this is my first post in this one. I look forward to hearing from you.

Default Nice one

Lovin the Red Sea products!

I would get some Live Rock or dry base rock with a seeder rock into that display as the LR will act as your bio-filtration and a place to glue your wallet to, er, coral, sorry, typo....

these are the perfect all in one units for beginners IMO. Big enough to stock with cool fish and coral without the problems of smaller nanos.

following....

Hi. good choice on the redseamax, it is always exciting to hear from someone new just getting into this wonderful hobby of a journey, PATIENCE PATIENCE here is everything along the way, I have been in this hobby since the 1970 and I still get excited by it all, a lot has change since then with technology but the PATIENCE is always there. Good luck and happy birthday! Regards Ken
