Default Chitons Problematic After All?

Here's a new one. Chitons do really well in my tank. Now I have noticed that when the smaller ones get to tank corners, they often work their way under the silicone. In the long run this will probably weaken the tank.

are you sure it's the chitons actually pulling up the silicone or has the edge of the seam come up of its own accord? possibly helped along by collisions with your mag-float. I just don't see chitons doing this; they naturally stay out in the open, relying on camouflage and their calcified plates for protection.
