Default Can Anyone IdentifyThis?

I purchased some Zoa's a while ago and noticed these tiny brown "palm Tree" looking things in between the Zoa heads. They eventually left the Zoa and started climbing up the rock. Anyone know what they are?

I would personally say if your not all that attached to the zoa colony to just chuck the whole thing. When you try and remove the hydroids in the tank you will just end up spreading them.

Man...
I've dealt with hydroids many a time and have never had them become prolific...

They thrive in tanks with a large amount of particulate in the water, Denny feeds more than any reefer I have ever met so hence his problem.

In a ULNS/ LNS they will fall down to basal levels or starve to death.
