Default Fragging

First photo....

There are 2 stalks on the little Rock with 2 heads on each stalk. I would like to take it off the little Rock and plug it into one the of many holes in my live rock.
Can I just cut at the bottom of the stalk, closest to the rock, so both heads are still attached?
Will sideways cutters work? It's all I have.

2nd photo....

Can I do the same to the 4 heads of toadstools?
Although with this one it may have to be 4 individual frags...

Thanks for any help. This forum has been awesome in getting me started so far!

How is the frogspawn attached to the rock? If its just glue, I often have luck just forcing it.
I recently tried fragging euphyllia with side cutters with a very poor outcome. I found in a few it worked okay, in others it just shattered the skeleton and in some it shattered right through the fleshy part even thought I cut way down at the base. Dremel seems to work best for me.

For softies I usually peel them off as close to the rock as possible with my fingernail, as for putting them elsewhere I cant answer that one. They usually decide where they want to attach.
