I have one Beardie, one leopard gecko and until recently a Veiled chameleon. I am also going to buy a Black and White Argentine Tegu once I am out of high school and find where to buy one. Reptiles are awesome pets.

So what, was the best /favorite critter(s) that you had? I'm thinking about a green tree python at some point once I have more experience.

Heh....my general rule is: if it lives in a tree it will probably bite you

If you're thinking of it for your son a tree python wouldn't be my first choice as I've yet to meet one that won't bite you but maybe others have had better experiences?

I've got to admit they come in some amazing colours tho....

My favorites were the arboreal vipers (golden eyelash vipers, temple vipers, atheris etc...) plus my 14 foot gold barneck male. After that it's hard to say I've kept just about everything in the book but also love tortoises, chameleons and nice color morphs of bearded dragons and boas
