I've just recalibrated the Alk. It's back up to 8 range. Will keep an eye on it and should be setting up the Ca Reactor soon. That should keep things steady.

Sounds about right, Greg! Time to weed a few out and then I'll be leaving it alone.
Don't know if I am dosing 1/2 litre per day but I am filling that 5 litre container but much sooner than before.

yeah, which is the wolverine? Not buying the Reef Raft hype anymore. I find the mariculture corals are not any different, a lot nicer and a lot less expensive. Anyways, I don't see many pics other than the stock Reef Raft pics and having a few I am not impressed. There should be a disclaimer saying that the coral may look different in low nutrient tanks etc... A lot of hype wanting to buy but then you don't hear anything else after...

Agreed Wayne. The RR pieces I see outside of their posts are less than impressive. Way nicer stuff available at way better prices. I would say in your tank alone, you have 40 pieces that are nicer than the RR pieces. We should see what some of them do under Radiums

May be I should wait for another 4-6 months to see how they react to the new lights first. To be fair I find the no name Reef raft pieces more exciting than the ones with the hype.... Seriously.... Ultimate crapmthis and that for $500... Not for me. Am I cheap in not wanting to spend the money, no. Those that know me and sponsored vendors know I will spend the money. I am just tired of bring suckered in with these colored saturated pics. You can see how mine have turned out in my journal and you be the judge. Again google the hyped pieces and you do not see any other than vendor reef raft related pics.

Default Time for a light change...

Got myself an early Xmas present this year... Thanks to Mike I have swapped out the mitras for a ATI hybrid. Man, I do love the new lights! Seeing colours on corals that I never new existed!

Anyways, here is a new FTS with the Hybrids...

And a few random coral shots...
