Default Peppermint Shrimp

Hey all

I was looking at some nice tube anemones at J&L, and before I bought one, I was wondering if anyone knows if peppermint shrimp will eat tube anemones? The guys at J&L weren't sure, and I don't want to buy a $50 snack for my shrimp.

Thanks

Not sure, but I'd also worry about the snacking the other way around. Tubes can eat large prey, IIRC

+1. Once anemones reach a certain size, they're generally more of a threat to to inverts than the other way around. You don't make it through 5 mass extinctions and half a billion years as a large, gooey ball of tissue without some pretty formidable defences...

I have 2 good sized Tube Anemonies in my 90g with a peppermint shrimp, for 2 years not a problem yet.
