Just my 2 cents That's a very fair shipping price Spenser. You have no idea what high shipping is..i have payed up to 120 for overnite shipping for a handful of sps frags. And when you have NO LFS you just suck up and pay the price for everything.A good deal for me is I.O salt 160 gallon pail for 50 +taxes an hour away.

Good point, we didn't think about setting up a group buy option when using harbour air. Let's scratch our heads a bit and we will come up with something.

when you say a group order shipping rate of $10 per person I am concerned. I organize for a group of approx 70 people and we regularly do orders for about 10 to 15 people. If I order 20 frags myself I get a flat rate of $50, but if 10 people(2 frags each) go the group order way they get charged $100??

And most vendors I have dealt with have free shipping after a certain amount is spent (usually $300-400), will you be having something similar?

Yeah, I agree a group order with 70 people with the way we have it, or group orders with small amounts of frags each our set up would be less than ideal.

What do you think of having the person who gets the shipment is charged the 50 dollars shipping, and everyone else gets "free shipping". Presumably so that the group order can figure how to share the shipping amongst the group.

We want what's best and we are certainly open to suggestions.

The key idea is that each person involved in the group order should place individual orders on their own. With our already high stock turnover rate, that's the only way group orders will work.

We're open to suggestions beyond that.

I like that even though your store is only 2 minutes away I will be able to shop in my PJ's.
Maybe I can cut down on the impulse buying.... Hmmm...
or will it get worse? lol

I think your shipping charges are more than fair.... But I would also like to see group orders (with a set min amount) get free shipping. It is the main reason to do a group order imo
